Glas razuma o EU

Whether we like it or not, the recognition of Kosovo as an independent state is inevitable, long-overdue and, therefore, the rational choice for Serbia to make.  However, it appears that the exchange of diplomats (which is de facto the recognition of Kosovo) is not a free and rational choice. It is the price Serbia paid for a chance (not even certainty) to join EU. If so, I think that the decision of Serbian government is degrading.

Moreover, the decision is also stupid. Instead of using Kosovo as a chip to bargain for the best deal, the government of Serbia has made a bad one. It recognized Kosovo as an independent state in exchange for transferring much of the country's sovereignty to the bureaucracy in Brussels.
